Why does the application require so much information?
We completely understand why it can feel like a lot.
A rental application requires detailed information because we’re responsible for carefully evaluating every applicant in a consistent and fair way. As professional property managers, we have a duty to the property owner to verify income, review credit and rental history, and ensure applicants meet our published Resident Selection Criteria. Collecting complete information up front allows us to do that thoroughly and efficiently.
It also protects you. By gathering documentation such as income verification, identification, and rental history, we can make objective decisions based on established criteria rather than subjective judgment. This helps ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and keeps the process fair for everyone.
We only request information that is relevant to evaluating the application, and all data is handled securely through our screening system.
